Job profile
Build expertise in taxation requirements, processes, and systems for diverse transactional and positional tax obligations
Analyse and improve controls or processes related to tax operations
Collaborate with the global team to execute key tax reform programs (e.g., FATCA and CRS), assess their impact, and ensure smooth implementation
Monitor the tax regulatory environment to assess risks and ensure compliance with the firm's tax reporting obligations
Serve as a regional point of contact for tax-related matters, supporting the business and global team
Ensure compliance with global reporting authorities
Manage inquiries from business units in established and emerging markets
Design, testing, and implementation of systems and processes
Optimize procedures and build scalability through data analytics and effective use of technology
Handle daily functions such as accurate and timely account documentation, monitoring and withholding, client information reporting and regulatory filings
Manage capital markets operations to ensure seamless global business processes Requirements Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in the Swiss Banking environment
Quantitative educational background preferred
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, a control-oriented mindset, and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex issues to diverse internal clients with varying levels of product and technical expertise, along with proficiency in Excel
Self-driven and proactive team player with strong organizational skills, capable of managing competing priorities effectively while taking ownership and accountability for initiatives
Adaptable and able to perform well under pressure in a collaborative team setting
Excellent English language skills
